About ADU Stock Plans
ADU Stock Plans specializes in affordable small homes that are thoughtfully designed for spacious living. With 50 years combined experience working with the architectural firm, Sexton Design (www.sextonhomedesign.com), we focus on sensible design, engineering and common sense. Our plans are compatible with local building practices and are engineered for the majority of the Central Oregon area. In the most severe locations our engineering for snow load and wind exposure may be revised for a small fee. If the plans are to be used as a small house or an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) it is the clients responsibility to verify planning rules for the specific location and submit the appropriate site plan with the permit application. All insulation and construction shall conform to the local jurisdiction requirements and to the International Residential Code. Builders shall verify crawl space requirements for the specific local jurisdiction. Siding shown on the plans is a recommendation only and may be modified. Modifications to plans and custom designs may be negotiated. We recommend a ductless mini split heating and air conditioning system.
